The Tears of Flowers is a personal collection born from an inner need to translate emotions into form. From the first sketches to the final silhouettes, Every step including concept, pattern design, modeling, fabric choice and digital simulation Was directed and created by myself. The project also features a custom soundtrack that I personally directed, Composed to mirror the emotional rhythm of each look. Each silhouette embodies a distinct emotion. Anxiety, anger, serenity, love, nostalgia, euphoria, and melancholy. Together, They form the journey of a single being seeking to gather all fragments of the self And, merge them into a total harmony. It is a story of inner rebirth, where feelings once opposed learn to coexist. This collection merges poetic brutality with Japanese minimalism, Balancing refinement and rawness, silence and tension. Through it, I sought to express the beauty of vulnerability And the invisible moment when emotion becomes tangible, When fabric begins to breathe. This project began with an exploration of atmosphere. Statues frozen in marble. Dancers suspended in light. Shadows sculpting bodies into absence and presence. The moodboard reveals a dramaturgic poetry. Refinement drawn from ballet. Brutality echoed in void. A visual tension where movement becomes memory. Created as a study to master Blender. The work started with CLO3D patterns. And, Evolved into a digital experiment of, Light, Shadow, Fabric. Each render was a test. How to illuminate a silhouette. How to balance refinement with rawness. The process became both technical and artistic, Shaping not only a dancer. But a fragment of my universe. Caught between darkness and radiance. Draped in a garment inspired by ballet yet touched by rough edges. She rises through emptiness, Fragile but untouchable. Clothing turns into poetry, Light becomes resurrection. And the dancer reawakens beyond the void. --- ## Fragments URL: https://mreye.fr/fragments Title: Sketches that have escaped from his mind, they seem alive Description: Fragments gathers visual studies where the Mreye universe appears as unfinished traces like remains of a thought taking shape. Nine named characters, revealed one by one as the visitor moves through them: Bad Seed, Chrysalis, The Dragonfly Girl, The Great Demiurge, Absorption, Parasite, The Last Flower on Earth, Amplification 1.0, Celestial. My older sketches started to feel unfamiliar, almost generic, so I wanted to push my artistic vision toward something more intimate and personal. These sketches are the result of 52 early research drawings. I think I'm heading in the right direction. I recognize myself in these much more than in the previous ones. They are my guardians. — Dorian --- ## Between URL: https://mreye.fr/between Title: BETWEEN, a ritual passage between inner and outer self Description: The thread becomes a psychological link, guiding the hidden self toward emergence through a garment staged as a threshold. A multi-screen project page, revealed one screen at a time. Winner of the competition at the sixteenth edition of the "De Fil en Aiguille" fashion festival. Screen 1 — the provocation: "Oh, so you want to express yourself?" Screen 2 — the manifesto (animated letter by letter on the page): Thus, the staging does not seek to explain things directly. It invites the audience to witness a moment of transition, where the garment becomes a tool of passage and where identity reveals itself without ever becoming fixed. It deliberately leaves part of it in the shadows, remaining faithful to the idea that the connection between the inner self and the outer self always remains to be constructed. Screen 3 — the definition: Between – proper noun 1. An artistic and fashion project that explores the notion of connection. 2. Refers to the intermediate space between the outer self, visible and socially constructed, and the inner self, concealed, restrained, and awaiting emergence. 3. In Between, the garment functions as a threshold, a surface of friction where these two dimensions enter into tension without ever fully resolving. 4. Created for the sixteenth edition of the "De Fil en Aiguille" fashion festival, and more specifically for its competition, this connection is placed under constraint and rooted in the theme "Du fil à retordre" ("a hard nut to crack"), understood here as an obstacle to move through and a tension that must be sustained. Screen 4 — the thread: The thread is understood here as a bond. An invisible yet constant bond, connecting the inner self to the outer self, linking what lies hidden to what is revealed. The act of "twisting the thread" is not conceived as a negative constraint, but rather as a process of transformation. It refers to the act of bringing forth what initially appears inaccessible: stepping beyond one's comfort zone, unveiling an inner identity, and accepting that the path is no longer linear but unstable, at times even drifting. To twist the thread is to embrace tension. It is to compel this bond to change, to bend and reshape itself until it discovers a form that truly reflects who we are. Once twisted, the thread does not break.. it adapts. The French expression « du fil à retordre » is often associated with difficulty or psychological hardship. Within the context of this project, this interpretation is deliberately reversed. Difficulty becomes a necessary passage. Resistance becomes a condition for emergence.
